Faith at the Table
Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:7

Table Talk at Home
Join us each week as we share simple resources, Bible verses, prayers, and family discussion ideas to help you have your own Table Talk at Home.
This is a place where you can find ideas to do around your dinner table, in your living room, or wherever your family gathers. Our heart is to help families slow down, connect, talk about God’s Word, and grow closer to Jesus together.
Come back each week for a new Table Talk idea you can use in your home!

In a world where everyone is moving so fast, where phones, schedules, stress, distractions, and life’s pressures can pull us in every direction, I believe God is calling families back to the table. Not just to eat dinner, but to reconnect. To talk. To pray. To laugh. To listen. To open God’s Word together. To remember what matters most.
God has put it on my heart that the dinner table can become more than just a place where we eat. It can become a place where faith is built, hearts are softened, families are strengthened, and conversations begin again.
My desire is to encourage families to set aside intentional time, even if it is just once a week, to gather around the table together. To share a meal. To read a Bible verse. To ask meaningful questions. To talk about real life. To invite God into the middle of their home, their conversations, their struggles, and their relationships.

Joshua 24:15 says, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” That verse is the foundation of this vision. It is a reminder that serving God starts at home. It starts in our families. It starts in the everyday moments — around the table, in the conversations, in the way we love, forgive, teach, and lead our children.
Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” My heart is to help families create moments where children are not just told about God, but where they see Him lived out in their home. Where they hear His Word spoken over dinner. Where they learn that faith is not just something we do at church, but something we live every day.
Faith at the Table is about more than dinner. It is about rebuilding connection. It is about creating space for families to come together again. It is about parents leading with love, children feeling seen and heard, and homes becoming places where Christ is welcomed.
My prayer is that through these table talks, families would be reunited the way Christ desires them to be. That walls would come down. That conversations would open up. That healing would begin. That laughter would return. That children would feel safe asking questions. That parents would feel encouraged to lead spiritually. And that families would grow stronger, not by perfection, but by being intentional.

This is not about having the perfect meal, the perfect house, or the perfect family. It is about making room for God in the middle of real life.
One meal.
One verse.
One conversation.
One family at a time.
My heart is to see families come back to the table, come back to each other, and come back to Christ.
Faith at the Table is a call to slow down, gather together, and build a home where God is at the center. Because when Christ is at the center of the home, families can be restored, strengthened, and united again.
